Kiritanpo

Kiritampo-nabe (a hot pot) is the most famous Akita traditional local dish.
Kiritanpo is made of cooked rice which is later kneaded and grilled on a skewer, then cut into small pieces and cooked in a pan with chicken, leeks, mushrooms, seasonal vegetables and Japanese parsley called seri.
