Ritsurin Koen Park is a landscape garden located in Takamatsu city. The construction of the garden by the local feudal lords began in the early Edo period and was completed over 100 years later. This spacious garden features six ponds, thirteen tsukiyama (landscaped hills), tea houses and Tsuru Kame Matsu (Crane and Turtle Pine Tree).
If you take a 30 minute Wasen boat ride in the south pond and you will feel as though you moved back in time to the Edo period.
