This Shinto shrine is situated in the Nichinan-kaigan Quasi-National Park and was uniquely built inside a cave on a cliff overlooking the sea. It is dedicated to the father of Jimmu, the first emperor of the mythical Japan. It is believed that your dreams will come true if you buy ‘Undama’ (lucky stones) and throw them right into the middle of a turtle shaped rock. Men are supposed to cast the stone with their left hand, and women- with their right hand.
