Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum was opened in 1994 as the first ramen museum. Ramen is a very popular Japanese noodle dish. This museum has 9 ramen shops from different regions of Japan. You can also create your own original brand of ramen at the “My Ramen Kitchen” located at the museum shop.
The Cup Noodles Company, Nissin, have opened a Cup Noodle Museum in Minato Mirai district. The museum features a 40 year history of instant ramen as well as the founder Mr. Ando Momofuku's creative entrepreneurship. . It exhibits over 3,000 cup noodle packages and recreates Mr. Ando's humble research facility. You can experience making your very own cup noodles from a wide variety of ingredients.
Sankei-en garden is a traditional Japanese garden designed by Sankei Hara. Sankei-en contains many historical buildings from various locations in Japan including a three storied pagoda located high up on a hill in the garden. This pagoda was originally constructed in Kyoto in the mid-1400s, and relocated to Sankei-en in 1914.
