Unazuki onsen is situated in Kurobe city and can be accessed easily by Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo. Most of ryokan and hotels are located along the Kurobe River, so visitors can enjoy the great view from an onsen bath or in your room. The Kurobe Gorge is best experienced in mid-October to mid-November. The main attraction, aside from the onsen experience, is the Kurobe Gorge Railway. A special sightseeing train runs between Unazuki and Keyakidaira with splendid panoramic views of the gorge. The train operates from mid-April to November.
