Nabana no Sato is a flower park dedicated to the flowers located in the Nagashima Resort, Kuwana city in Mie prefecture. Its displays are among Japans’ finest and most spectacular illuminations during the winter months. The theme of the display changes every year and has won awards for its winter illuminations since 2013. A huge amount of LED lights are used during the illuminations, creating a sea of lights and animated light shows. With the lovely scenery, the tunnels of light and the gentle music, the atmosphere is warm and romantic, making this a great location to visit with a loved one.
In the summer, there is a flower festival that is among the largest in Japan.
On a general visit, one the park’s main attractions is Island Fuji, a moving observation deck that gives fantastic views over the rest of the park. If you are visiting Nagashima resort for the hot springs or the theme park, or just want an evening out away from the city during a visit to Nagoya, Nabana no Sato is a great spot to visit.
