Kusatsu Onsen (hot springs) is one of Japan’s leading hot spring resorts.

Another popular attraction is a ‘Yumomi’ demonstration at Netsu No Yu bathhouse. (Admission 500 yen) you can see the traditional way of cooling down hot spring water using large wooden paddles.
