The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is a railway museum opened in 2014. The museum introduces advances in high speed railway and displays around forty of the actual carriages including the next-generation Superconducting Maglev, Steam Locomotives and historic Shinaksen (Bullet train).

One of the major attractions is the Shinkansen and conventional train simulators, which allow you to learn about railways while having fun!

Access: 2 min walk from Kinjo-futo Station on Aonami Line
Hours: 10.00 ~ 17.30 (entry close at 17.00)
Closed: Tuesdays (if Tuesday is a National Holiday, closed on the following day), 28th Dec to 1st Jan
Admission: 1,000 yen (adults) / 500 yen (children)
*additional fees required for the simulator
