Luxury Japan: Kurokawa Onsen

1. Day 1

   Fukuoka > Kurokawa

   On your first day, your driver will take you around some of the most interesting sties between Fukuoka and Kurokawa.
   
   The first stop is Dazaifu Tenmangu, a popular and vibrant shrine, associated with education and learning.
   
   Next you will visit Hita and Mameta town, neighbouring riverside towns with historic old buildings and historic streets, perfect for a short wander around.
   
   Finally, you will transfer to Kurokawa, where you will get to stay at Takefue, a ryokan with simply amazing food and even more incredible hot springs. We hope you enjoy it here.

2. Day 2

   Location

   Kurokawa >Yufuin > Fukuoka

   Meal

   Breakfast

   After you have made the most of your stay in Takefue and have checked out, your driver will take you to Yufuin, another charming onsen town before you return to Fukuoka.
   
   Yufuin is another lovely hot spring town. It has many modern conveniences and the main street is great for strolling around, with its cafes and shops selling local crafts and confectionaries. There is a beautiful lake a short walk away. Enjoy a leisurely drink and some light shopping, and try out a couple of the onsen in town if they appeal, before your driver takes you back to Fukuoka.
