(International Markets Tourism Strategy Manager Niseko Town Administration)
I visited Japan for the very first time in 1989 and lived and studied in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. After spending a year in Japan, I returned to my home country New Zealand and worked as a Japanese tour guide, after which I have worked in various positions in the tourism sector, here in Japan and overseas, before starting work for the town administration in the role of tourism str ategy development and promotion. Niseko is multi-faceted year round destination, which delivers on your dreams. It is a great place to be active and get in touch with a different you; the scenery is spectacular, the food is undeniably good, and the p eople are warm and welcoming. All reasons as to why I call Niseko home. I hope by sharing some local knowledge, you will be inspired enough to make Niseko your next destination.
