Having received three stars from Michelin Green guide Japón, Kabira Bay is without doubt the most scenic spot on Ishigaki Island. The view of the bay is instantly recognisable as it has featured extensively in guidebooks and advertisement boards. Swimming is prohibited due to the strong current, but views of the beautiful coral and tropical fish can be enjoyed from a glass-bottomed boat. There is also an observation point situated just above the bay.
