Met my hotel needs excellently, ensuring great location and good value. Also provided much useful information and advice - important as, whilst I had visited Japan some years ago on business, I am not a Japanese speaker/reader and had not travelled there alone.
Only area where advice was not possible from JTC, and difficult to find elsewhere, concerned the usability, or otherwise, of my UK mobile phone in Japan, but I understand that this is a complex topic, and that you could not afford to give wrong advice. (NB: as it happens my phone did work there OK, including for emails in most places) Thank you!e.

We do understand your concern with the usage of your UK mobile phone in Japan, although acquiring SIM cards would be difficult if you’re just staying in Japan for a couple days, additionally the data roaming may incur extra charges.
