Itinéraire - 7 Jours

1. Jour 1

   Location

   UK to Tokyo

   Arrive in Tokyo Narita / Haneda and use your JR Pass to transfer to Tokyo city using the Narita Express (from Narita) or Tokyo Monorail (from Haneda).

2. Jour 2

   Location

   Tokyo

   Our suggestions:
   For your first 2 days, enjoy discovering all that Tokyo has to offer. You can use your JR Pass on the JR Yamanote line that goes to popular locations such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara and Harajuku Why not head to Shibuya crossing for plenty of fabulous shopping options and then try out some Japanese food (and if you're feeling really adventurous some karaoke)?

3. Jour 3

   Location

   Tokyo to Nikko

   On day 3, take a day trip to Nikko! Known as a centre of both Shinto and Buddhism, Nikko has magnificent temples and shrines sit side-by-side in this amazing home of Japanese spirituality. The mausoleum here to one of Japan's most famous Shogun's is one of a kind, and truly astounding!

4. Jour 4

   Location

   Tokyo to Kyoto

   Travel to Kyoto with your JR Pass.
   
   I hope you're ready for some temples!
   What Tokyo is to skyscrapers, Kyoto is to temples. They're everywhere and many of them are spectacular. Particular highlights include Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Roan-ji.

5. Jour 5

   Location

   Kyoto, Nara, Osaka

   Enjoy sightseeing in Nara, another old capital renowned for its giant Buddha and deer that roam free throughout the city. In the evening, head to the exciting and vibrant city of Osaka, less than 30mins away from Kyoto!

   Location

   Kyoto, Hiroshima

   Another day another fantastic day trip!
   
   Hiroshima is the home of the Peace Museum, a sombre but moving and important site. Additionally, it is home of the Itsukushima Shrine, a beautiful red gate that emerges directly out of the ocean.

7. Jour 7

   Location

   Kyoto

   Make your way from Kyoto to Osaka Kansai International Airport.
